Renovations and alterations-Alphen Park-Full Home Renovation

We herewith confirm that Fenics Construction cc undertook the renovations and alterations to our home.

In this regard, we confirm the following:

  • The project was completed in accordance with the JBCC Minor Works Agreement;
  • The commencement date for the project was the 17th November 2021,
  • The project scope included the refurbishment of home in Alphen Park Benoni. This was a full renovation, –
    • Having the home demolished to 50% .
    • Reconstructing of new external boundary walls.
    • New roof trusses and tiles, new fascias, gutters and downpipes.
    • Internal and external, brickwork and plaster.
    • Internal and external painting. With the external being finished with marmoran, and paint.
    • New internal electrical, plumbing, drainage, HVAC and Security system installation.
    • New Gas installation.
    • New Solar installations.
    • New internals throughout the home, bathrooms, laundry, kitchens.
    • Complete new built in cupboards throughout the home.
    • New garages and garage doors.
    • Swimming pool and braai area.
    • Paving, Landscaping and irrigation.

  • We further inform that Fenics Construction completed the project on time and to our satisfaction. The manner in which the project was managed and coordinated during the period was above our expectations. The technical insight and guidance he shared in changing the dynamics of our home was rewarding.

Full home renovations and alterations – Northumberland Avenue – Graighall Park

We herewith confirm that Fenics Construction CC undertook the renovations and alterations to our home.

In this regard, we confirm the following:

  • The project was completed in accordance with the JBCC Minor Works Agreement.
  • The commencement date for the project was the 15 May 2024.
  • The scope was significantly increased from the initial requirement and Fenics still managed to stick to a very tight timeline and delivered the house on time.
  • The project scope included the refurbishment of our home in Craighall park. This was a full renovation. 

Scope: 

  • Having the home demolished to 70%.
  • Renovation of outbuilding, Gym and Studio/Office.
  • New outbuilding, entertainment area.
  • Reconstructing of new external boundary walls. New roof trusses and sheeting, new fascia’s, gutters and downpipes.
  • Internal and external, brickwork and plaster. Internal and external painting.
  • With the external being finished with new plaster and paint, rock rework and remedials, and paint.
  • New internal electrical, plumbing, drainage, HVAC.
  • Security system installation.
  • WIFI and fiber installations.
  • Electric fencing.
  • Gate and gate motors.
  • New Gas installation.
  • New Solar hot water system installations.
  • New internals throughout the home, bathrooms, laundry, kitchens.
  • Complete new solarium added to home.
  • Complete new built in cupboards throughout the home.
  • New driveway and paving.
  • Swimming pool complete renovation.
  • Paving, with minor landscaping and irrigation.
  • The Contract duration was 17.5 weeks. (15 May 2024 – 15 September 2024).

The manner in which the project was managed and coordinated by Fenics during this period exceeded our expectations. The technical insight and guidance shared in changing the dynamics of our home was extremely rewarding. With strong management on site, any additional requests were promptly responded to so as not to delay the overall project. We felt extremely reassured throughout the project.

We further confirm that, despite the significant increase in scope, Fenics completed the project on time and to our satisfaction. Renovations and alterations Farm Residence

We herewith confirm that Fenics Construction cc undertook the renovations and alterations to the residence of Mr. G.P Stand 198

In this regard, we confirm the following:

  • The project was completed in accordance with the JBCC Minor Works Agreement;
  • The commencement date for the project was 1 March 2022,
  • The project scope included the refurbishment of new roof sheeting to home, external painting, remodeling of swimming pool, paving and concrete walkways, epoxy flooring, ceilings, electrical and plumbing installations.
  • The completion date was 15 July 2022.

We further requested Fenics Constructions to undertaken further remedials during May 2023 as follows-

  • Project scope – Land scaping, Solar geyser installations, blinds, waterproofing, and tiling.
  • The completion was 30 May 2023

We further note that despite extremely tight timeframes, Fenics Construction completed the project on time and to the required quality standards, and in-line with the Monaghan Farm HOA regulations.

We would therefore recommend Fenics Construction cc for any similar projects.

Additions and Alterations to Dr. M residence (Project 1)

TAG had the pleasure of working with Fenics Construction cc on a residential renovation in Morningside, Sandton. TAG was appointed as principal consultant for the project and worked closely with Fenics Construction cc in their capacity as Contractor. The project scope involved a kitchen renovation, as well as 3 bathrooms.

In this regard, we can confirm the following:

  • The project was completed in accordance with the JBCC Minor Works Agreement
  • The commencement date for the project was 15 June 2022
  • Practical completion was achieved on 15 July 2022

Fenics Construction cc was able to complete the project on time and executed their duties professionally while maintaining high quality standards.

Additions and Alterations to Dr. M residence (Project 2)

TAG had the pleasure of working with Fenics Construction cc on a residential renovation in Killarney, Johannesburg. TAG was appointed as principal consultant for the project and worked closely with Fenics Construction cc in their capacity as Contractor.

This was a complex project as the site was on the 5th floor of an old apartment building. Additionally, Fenics Construction cc was called in to take over work from another contractor that was not performing satisfactorily.

The project scope involved extensive renovations and refurbishments to an apartment unit including 2 bathrooms, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, lounge, dining area, and patios.

In this regard, we can confirm the following:

  • The project was completed in accordance with the JBCC Minor Works Agreement
  • The commencement date for the project was 1 September 2023
  • Practical completion was achieved on 17 November 2023

Fenics Construction cc was able to complete the project on time and executed their duties professionally while maintaining high quality standards.

Renovations and Remedials – Wynberg – Factory and Office

We herewith confirm that Fenics Construction cc undertook the renovations and alterations to our home.

In this regard, we confirm the following:

  • The project was completed in accordance with the JBCC Minor Works Agreement;
  • The commencement date for the project was 5 December 2021.
  • The project scope included:
    • Waterproofing to the factory roof part 1 – 2000m2 phase 1
    • Waterproofing to the factory roof part 2 – 1500m2 phase 2
    • Waterproofing to factory roof part 3 – 600m2 phase 3
    • Façade painting to office building
    • The completion date was 30 May 2023.

We further inform that Fenics Construction completed the project to our needs and requirements. We are currently in talks with Fernando Sboro of Fenics Constructions to further render his services on other buildings.

Renovations and alterations – linden – Mrs S

We herewith confirm that Fenics Construction cc undertook the renovations and alterations to the Sisulu offices, Sandton.

ln this regard, we confirm the following:

  • The project was completed in accordance with the JBCC Minor Works Agreement.
  • The commencement date for the project was 14 March 2023,
  • The project scope included the refurbishment of Offices, internal painting and ceilings. external new roof trusses and tiles, fagade waterproofing, and painting, new gutters, balcony tiling RT wall re-construction, paving and river edge rock placing.

  • The completion date was 9 May 2023.

    We further note that the offices had temporary staff still working in the offices, the tight timeframes, and working around obstacles within the building was taken care of at alltimes. Fenics Construction completed the project on time and to the required quality standards, and in-line with our requirements.
